15th Animal Welfare Run

Big or small, stand up for animals! The Vegane Gesellschaft Österreich and the team at vegan.at warmly invite all running enthusiasts and animal lovers to the Animal Welfare Run on 4 October 2026 at Prater Hauptallee. Schedule: 10:00 a.m.: Start (bib pickup, late registration) 1:30 p.m.: Start of the main race 2:30 p.m.: Awards ceremony Events: 100 m Knirpslauf: ages 0–7, free, start at 11:30 a.m. (bib numbers are made by hand; no bib pickup required) 850 m Schüler:innenlauf: ages 8–13, warm-up at 11:45 a.m., start at 12:00 p.m. 5 km and 10 km main races: warm-up at 1:15 p.m., start at 1:30 p.m. 5 km Nordic walk: warm-up at 1:15 p.m., start at 1:40 p.m. Location: Vienna, Prater Hauptallee, near Meiereistraße Registration: www.tierschutzlauf.at/anmeldung Bib pickup: Early bib pickup and late registration are available in advance at our office, Meidlinger Hauptstraße 63/6. Bib pickup before the race is also possible on Prater Hauptallee from 10:00 a.m. until at least one hour before the respective event.
