Welcome, new activists! Thank you for joining the Cube of Truth. Your participation plays a crucial role in exposing the truth about animal exploitation and educating the public about it. This guide provides important information to ensure you are well prepared to support us in this powerful form of activism. About the Cube of Truth: The Cube of Truth is a street campaign in which we engage with the public through direct action in a structured and impactful way. On screens, we show standard footage of animal exploitation to reveal the truth. Volunteers simultaneously hold one-on-one conversations with passersby to educate them about animal exploitation and show them how they can make a difference. Preparing for the Cube of Truth Before attending your first Cube of Truth, it is mandatory to familiarize yourself with our outreach methods and guidelines. This ensures that together we maintain a unified and effective approach. You will receive an introduction in the briefing. Equipment Provided by the organisers: • Masks, signs, and outreach cards will be provided on the day of the event. Optional: In consultation with the organisers, you may bring a fully charged laptop or tablet with our standard Cube footage downloaded and ready to play on a loop. Clothing and Appearance For the event, it is essential that everyone maintains a uniform, professional look: • Wear: Plain black or AV-branded clothing appropriate for the weather. • Acceptable: vegan messages (after prior approval) • Avoid: Clothing with logos, graphics, animal welfare or vague vegan messages, or branding from other organisations. • Absolutely no: Clothing or shoes made from animal materials This strict dress code is crucial to maintaining the seriousness and professionalism of our actions. Personal Belongings Please do not bring bags or personal belongings unless absolutely necessary. If you do bring anything, you must carry it with you for the entire event. The organisers accept no responsibility for personal belongings. In some cases, there is also the option of storing bags in sacks or trolleys, but please note that even in these cases no liability is assumed. Respect and Representation At the Cube of Truth, we expect everyone to respect the organisers and the other volunteers. It is important to follow our structure and represent our core values professionally.
